[?]iChat broken/offline?

I seem no longer to be able to get to iChat chat rooms such as "jaguar" or "appleinsider". I do not even get the window showing an emty room for those rooms that are not that frquently visited ...



I can see buddies status (therefor I can log in) but not get to a chat room?



Anyone else having this problem?

    I know I should only use commandline IRC clients ...



    Fvck-off, I spend half my working day in vi so I actually like this no-brains graphical GUI!

    This seems to be a problem with AIM in general, not iChat. The only client I was able to get to work was Proteus, since it probably uses the old version of the AIM/AOL protocol.
