    You can just put the mp3s on a web server and access them via a playlist file. The format for .m3u files is as follows for each item in the playlist:

    [code]http://ip_address/filename.mp3</pre><hr></blockquote>;

    If you don't have the bandwidth or don't want to leave your PC on all the time, your ISP may provide you with some webspace.

    Ok. This is what I?d like to do:

    a) Set up a streaming, or on demand server from my own box. I have the bandwidth to do this. I will be providing only 2-3 feeds max.

    b) I?d like this to be a semi private server. I don?t want it advertised and I don?t want to rely on a relay service, which is what I think shoutcast does.

    c) I?d also like my iPod mp3?s to show on the playlist and have them be accessible to/through iTunes, given you have the correct ip address.

    Is that possible?
