Uploading Photos from iPhoto

Newbie question.



When I try to upload photos to a website, Facebook for example, I cant get into the iPhoto Directory where the photos are. I can see the directory, but cannot access it. I have to copy it from iPhoto into a Pictures folder that I have, and then upload from there. Is this the way its supposed to be? Doesnt make sense?

    Yes, you are to stay out of the library in finder. Iphoto does it this way so that you do not corrupt your photos by mucking about in the finder. When you want to upload to Facebook, etc. choose your photo from within the iPhoto app, export to desktop or wherever you want it and upload from there. This is done for the safety of your photos and your sanity. Do anything and everything to/with your photos from within the app. Stay out of the iPhoto library in finder.
