Ringtone thing - How does it work? I can't seem to find it.

I can not seem to find anything with the ring-tone maker anywhere? I see the Apple page that has a light description of it, but my new iTunes doesn't show me any bells or anything.

Unless you have an iPhone, it won't show up, is my understanding.

The Steve said that it won't be "turned on" till next week.... even though we've already got the new iTunes available. And I think It'll show up without the iPhone ... (the ringtones just won't be much use without the phone.)

Take a .m4a file. Now rename it as a .m4r file. Drop into iTunes. BOOM! New ringtone, synced to your phone.

The file can't be more than 30 seconds long, and has to be an unprotected AAC file to begin with.

    [edit]

The AAC file has to be 128kbps also.
