Apple Store Employment ?'s
I was thinking of applying to an Apple store, as there is one opening near me. I was thinking of being maybe a cashier or a product specialist. I don't personally own a mac, but my sister does, and i am fairly familiar with them, as i use them in school. On to my questions:
1. What is the minimum age requirement to work at an Apple store?
2. What is the average salary for a cashier or product specialist?
3. Whats is the discount for employees?
4. How are the working conditions (flexible hours)?

This all depends on the Apple Store in your area or Apple Reseller.
My guesses:
1. Can be as low as 15? How old are you? We can advise better then. Also, what is the minimum age and pay for your local area/ county/ city/ state/ etc...?
2. Cashier and product specialist are quite different. Product specialist may be more interesting and would pay better. Also there may be commission pay.
3. Depends? May be 5%, 10%, may be some employee purchase plans for employees, ec.
4. Retail normally involves quite long continuous hours, though of course there are part-time and casual options sometimes.
Best thing is to speak to employees, managers of the Apple shops you are interested in working in. Friends that work in the business, also check out job ads...?
It's not easy to last long at an Apple Store because you have to be pretty aggressive with .Mac and AppleCare not to mention how many machines you sell.
Unless times have changed?
