Go have a look at the butterfly:

It looks like it has got a fair amount of Entourage code in the email and address book clients.

Comments? Flames?

Might be great for some folks.

People like different styles, so maybe the people who don't like Apple's services will like this. It looks like a good package for some folks. And if AOL begins charging for the use of it's IM service (as was rumored today), then this will become an even bigger competitor to AOL.

I know of at least one person who I shared a house with who bought a Mac and promptly returned it because it didn't have MSN access.

While the excuse will be that this is a first release on this platform, I'll bet it never catches up to Windows' MSN client.

I hate to say it..but I know a few people whom I have started on Macs..who NEED this. (not tech savvy..and manage to screw up anything, and I do mean ANYHTHING I set up for them.) This way I can lock them out of hurting themselves!! The only two DSL providers up in there area is MSN and Qwest (Qwests lines, MS equipt.) I had to tell MSN how to get their DSL on a Mac..they had no refrence on how to do it. They actually told her that there service was NOT MAC COMPATIBLE. I laughed at her..and them..told her to sign up..confrence called them, and had them online and running around in about 5 min. The level 3 techs were flabbergasted..and had NO IDEA how I did it. PATHETIC LOSERS.
