Buying a macbook pro but thinking of waiting for Leopard

Hiya

I am buying my first apple as I need to run final cut pro studio 2.

I am looking at a 15" system for better portability.

I heard Color on Final Cut Studio 2 only runs on a 17", does this mean I cant even open it on a 15" at all?

Is there a 2.2 GHZ mac that comes with a 256MB graphics card?

If so is there much difference between that and the 2.4GHZ system as I want to save money so would rather get the 2.2 GHZ?

Since I have never owned a mac before would u recommend waiting for Leopard as I can start on a new footing?
