External Hard Drive will not Mount

Hello,



I have a Buffalo USB 2.0 Hard Drive, it used to work fine but one day started to mount erratically so I backed it up then reformatted it. It worked fine for a short while but now it is not mounting at all, it is seen by the computer in system profiler but not in disk utility. I have tried various USB devices and two other USB external Hard drives and they mount just fine.



All I need is for it to mount just once so i get my data off the hard drive and wipe it clean.



DOes anyone have a solution to get this thing to mount?
