Edge network failing

I haven't been able to use Edge network the last couple of days. It says "could not activate Edge". Anybody else having the same problem? Maybe I need to reset or something.

    No problem in San Diego - sounds like a hardware/software problem in your phone.

    Power down your phone and turn back on. Edge should come back.

    EDGE and ATT service has not been working for me since about 3pm West Coast Time. I'm near San Diego - anyone else having problems??

    Still spotty reception for me. EDGE comes on every two mins for about 3 seconds, then fails. I powered off, turned back on. I powered off, took out the SIM card (like ATT told me to do) and then powered back up to no avail! I'm calling ATT tomorrow if this isn't fixed!
