Mac Pro or iMac
Well me and my girlfriend are thinking of moving to mac full stop that means getting rid of our windows gaming computers and going all out mac.
We have some questions for you all?
What should we go for mac pro or imac? (next line tells you what we want to do)
we use are pc's for the whole adobe product range (photoshop, premier pro and so on), quake express, and 3d max (which i really use).
These are the Q's can we run these, will they run better and is it worth putting down £2000 for the mac pro with 23" monitor? are should i just build a pc for half that price?
If it is worth it when should i do it (when is Leopard out?) will there be any upgrads out in the next few months?( dont want to buy it and the next week something new comes out for it hell its a lot of money)
Thanks
Lav

Any one know anything about Kingston ValueRAM's 256M x 64-bit 2GB (2048MB) CL5 DDR2-667 SDRAM why is it cheaper than apples ram?
was thinking of waiting till 10.5 cause its looking real good, and i hope they up date the pro with quad core as standard with 2gb ram that would be good for me.

KVR sucks. Kingston don't support it being installed in Macs and you'll discover what a Kernel Panic is pretty quickly.
Crucial are a lot less hassle.
Once you've got the part number from their web site the modules are generally cheaper on dabs.com:
