Undoing a POP account mail download

I've just set-up the mail program in Vista on my iMac. However, stupidly I added my email account as a POP account and downloaded all the emails onto Windows. Now I can't see them in Mail. (I've sinced changed the settings on Windows so it works as an IMAP account). How can I get all of the emails back onto my Mac? As its the same system I presume I can't just copy and paste like from Mac to Mac. Can I upload them to the server again or what exactly?

    You can forward them to yourself, that's about it.

    Or you can simply drag them from your local folder to the IMAP server. This might take some time, but then they will be there.
