Applescript Question-Checking Web Email

Is there an Applescript out there that can work to open a browser and log me into my webmail account? (Yahoo, hotmail, whatever)? If not...is this possible to write? I'm just really starting to discover applescript...maybe I can take a stab at it as a project...

Thanks for any replies.

    Edit: I don't know if this uses Applescript, but just wanted to post the info about it anyway.

    I just saw something about this somewhere else yesterday... some guy wrote up something that can let Mail.app connect to Hotmail:

    <a href="http://versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/18189"; target="_blank">http://versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/18189</a>;

    I think the readme says it'll only work with Hotmail right now.

    Yeah...I know about that one. That would be nice if it did. Altho I thought Yahoo cost money to get pop access? Does hotmail? I have a Yahoo account btw...

    As it stands now, I believe that the same way that Hotmail checker deal works will not work with Yahoo mail, without a lot of signifigant changes to the source, according to the author. I found something on <a href="http://sourceforge.net/projects/yahoopops/"; target="_blank">sourceforge</a> that will work with Yahoo but I have no idea of how well it works.
