ipod broken?

My g/f's ipod nano is cracked on the bottom, and we can't connect the connector to it (to charge/upload songs). Is there a way to get it repaired? Do anyone knows if Apple even does repairs on ipod nano's (2nd gen). As far as I know, also, her warrenty is up.

    Nano second gen, and it's the shell thats crack -- at least, thats what we can see on the outside.



    And I wasn't trying to be mean, just had a bad day and read the lack of replies at the wrong time. Sorry
