iPhone Not Displaying PDF Attachments

I can't seem to get my iPhone to display a PDF attachment. I have tried 2 different files, with the last one being Apples own iPhone user guide. It just says 'loading' for a while then freezes up. Sometimes it then reboots itself and other times I have to do a hard reset.

What are the limitations/restrictions on size or content? Is it a format issue?

I haven't tried one since the update, but a month ago I had no problem viewing a 15MB .pdf that I emailed myself ... (although I wouldn't recommend downloading THAT over Edge )

I didn't do anything special to the file, just drag/drop it into an email and send it to myself. The problem is, it doesn't "keep" the attachment in the phone, so you have to re-download it everytime you want to view it. I REALLY WANT a file-systemm on this phone!... hoping it comes with the first update after Leopard is released!

try doing a reset on the phone; holding the home button and the power button at the same time; likewise if that doesnt work, restore the phone; and lastly, try a small file sized pdf as it. Will take forever and just spin trying to download it over EDGE as previously mentioned
