Macbook problems. Needs disk repaired
I am trying to repair the HD with the install disk and with disk utility and I am getting this message,

Incorrect number of thread records
Checking multi-linked files.
Checking Catalog hierarchy.
Checking Extended Attributes file.

The volume matts harddrive needs to be repaired.

1 HFS volume checked
\tVolume needs repair
It won't let me repair the disk. I tried all the verify and permissions repairs. but it won't fix it.
