Did anyone else notice that Automator will finally support recording? That means anyone can create automator some pretty advanced automator scripts without having to know any applescript. I can't wait, this is going to make my life a lot easier.
So how does it work? I go to automator, click 'record' (or something similar) and then perform the actions in the automation script? Because that would actually let me use it as I have tried automator in tiger and have given up because of the time learning: benefit I would get from it. If what I described is 'recording' than I am extremely excited.
This feature had been available in a system 9 software (the name of which I cannot recall right now...) that I used to use. It was fantastic for automating common tasks... Hmm... maybe it was part of Now-Up-To-Date or something like that... don't remember... memory failing me recently.
