I lost my mouse clicking ability in 10.1.1
It happened earlier today, for a second my screen freezes then I lost my mouse click ability. The mouse still moves, but I cant click on anything. Is anyone else experience this odd quark?
Jeesh, I had to click tab 100000 times in IE to get to this post buttom.

I have not, anything at MacFixit about this? Oh, and try shift Tab to start fromthe bottom maybe for faster post.
Relogging/restarting works. However, restarting the finder doesnt work.
Can you think of anything more specific that's usually going on when it happens? Like, for example, when IE is loading a page in the background, or when Mail is deleting messages from a server, or when downloading in IE, or anything? I've got Mail and IE running with no problems so far, and I'm trying different things to see if I can reproduce what you described.
Or does it honestly just seem random?
I just booted up/logged in and open IE, I hold down my "0" key on my numeric keyboard for a few seconds and then I lose mouse control in IE and the finder.

This is caused hitting zero on the numeric keypad when Mouse Keys is turned on in the Universal Access preference pane. The zero key represents "press and hold." Pressing 5 on the numeric keypad releases press and hold and solves the problem. So does pressing the option key five times to turn mouse keys off if you have that option checked.
I just looked at the thread and thought "10.1.1? That's a joke, right? Some sick, cruel, joke, right? Right?" Until I saw the date.
What a bump.
