New iTunes wont import videos ~:-l
hi everyone. i know there is another thread about this somewhere but i seemed to have lost it...so im sorry to all of you who have to read yet another one of us complain about this very bad problem. k problem is that my videos wont import into iTunes. They are .mp4 files, which is supossed to be recoqnized by iTunes. When I import it just sits there and does nothing. I have tried drag and drop, file > import, file > add file to library, file > add folder to library. Also i have tried putting it on my desktop to do it since i read somewhere that it would work that way and it didnt. Then i tried shortening the filename down to almost nothing, but it didnt work...iTunes just sat there. I only got one of my videos to work. It was converted from .avi to .mp4 using Videora. All the rest dont work. I've tried Videora and Xilisoft to convert these files, all of which were .avi previously. I was going to try other alternate programs but didnt want to spend money, since i already spent the money for the ability to be able to transfer my videos to my iPod. There was nothing that said i couldnt do this when i bought the ipod so im not looking to spend money, just out to fix apple's mistake and get what i paid for. ...anyways im gunna take a deep breath and calm down as this subject is making me a bit mad. My ipod is a black ipod classic (6G) and my iTunes is completely up to date (newest version). If there is anybody out there who can help im begging you PLEASE help me! im losing my hair in handfulls lol jk but yah just a free way to fix this would be nice. thanks again and sorry for the repeat in thread also...
