.........seems pretty solid. Except I have to wait longer to see the open dialogue box.



Also tried the Office X beta for a while......Basically beside carbonization and prettier interface I don't see anything new in that package. Therefore I am NOT planning to upgrade Office X. Better spend that money on other software upgrades like PS and FCP.....

    Yes, agreed, but common sense to anyone who uses Office nowadays.

    back to the public beta time WORD 98 was extremely unstable....froze at least 10 times a day.



    I am bringing this out is to 'encourage' people NOT to upgrade to Office X if there's really no need or if they are still going to use Classic like me <img src="graemlins/smokin.gif" border="0" alt="[Chilling]" />

    I never have had problems with the Office apps, even in the PB days... but YMMV. Agreed: spread the word to discourage the downgrade! :cool:
