HELP! - iClock

Since I've been using my new iMac for the last few days I've had trouble with iClock. With my previous Mac G4 I didn't have such problems. Ok, here's the problem..... every so often I'll receive a message from iClock stating the following: " iClock version check error, are you connected to the internet? ... unable to download current version information." At that time my time stops. I click on "OK" and the time/clock goes back to normal until the next error message pops up....very annoying! I tried to send a message to their support website but nothing happens. I have no problems getting on the internet and my connection is good except for their website?? I do have their latest version. What do I need to do to get rid of these annoying error messages. tia
