Osx Leapord Family Pack

Actually I'm a bit confused on family pack, does it mean you get 5 liscence of leapord that you NEED to be in the same household? or can you share it with 5 of your friends? If it were true that you can share with 5 of your friends also, would it be pretty bad? because if you can do so, would everyone do the same thign?
