Genius required...

As a relatively new Mac convert, I made an error when I transferred photo files from my new doorstop/old pc.

I am a tidy kind of person and for some reason I cannot fathom which file within iphoto library my 'originals' sit in. I have tried deleting the files that I thought they were and creating new files, but all I seem to end up with is blank files or duplicates....

Can any of you geniuses help?

What version of iPhoto do you have? In iPhoto 7 the library is hidden.
