Dashboard

My only known issue with upgrading to Leopard--so far, that is--is that Dashboard has mysteriously ceased working, but only on my administrator account. When I try to launch it, the little black bar full of widgets appears at the bottom of the screen like it should, but when I go to try to drag a particular widget onto the desktop, Dashboard just disappears. The three accounts set up for my kids all seem to work just fine like before, so it's not my technique. Anyone have any clue what's going on?

Any idea what keeps mangling the preferences? I have deleted the cache files. I've repaired disk permissions. I've restarted in safe mode. Things keep getting corrupted for some reason. It'll be working for a while, then I'm back to square one--no functioning widgets, just the plus in the lower left corner.

    Delete your ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.dashboard.* files

    Consider yourself lucky!

Now, if I could only figure out how to mangle the preference file for Stacks...
