PHOTOSHOP CRASHES! AGGH!

While we all wait for PS X to come our way I am trying to use the slightly slower PS 6.0 in OSX Classic mode.

Much to my horror I can ONLY allocate 500MB to PS otherwise the program 'unexpectantly quits'.

Please tell me there is a way to use more of my hard earned gig of RAM - I need to deit a 400MB file and it would be 'nice'...

Any workarounds anyone?

Nope, that's a known bug. It happens to any Classic app if you allocate too much memory. Just wait for an update or boot into OS9.

In my case I can't allocate more than 450MB

Also if I get the quit error and try to launch it again without immediately rebooting the entire Classic environment my whole machine freezes

Ahhhhh, technology.....Thank you Adobe for holding our $609.00 balls until your software someday (probably never) works for your true and "faithful" lemmings. Gee, maybe I'll just get a Dell, duuuude....

I'm all for just working with PS 6.0 in OS 9.2.1 until these shills create something that will be useable in OS X. Anyone for that matter....

Opinions from a really not to impressed with OSX user...

Adobe should have had a Photoshop out by now. I wouldn't say OS X sucks cause Adobe can't get it in gear.
