Santa Rosa MBP - Airport Wireless speed decrease after repair

Just recently, I took my computer to my local Apple store to be looked at due to that the keyboard and trackpad were not responding. After the tech had initially turned off the original airport in my computer, the computer would functioning correctly. However when it was turned back on it would lock up. After this, he told me they would do diagnostics on the logic board and replace the airport.

To make a long story short, they sent it to a repair center, I got it back fixed however now my internet runs a lot slower even at my house. I haven't changed anything on my computer since I sent it in for repair and I am now wondering if they replaced the airport with a older version of it. Does anyone think that is a possibility? I am going to take it in most likely if it was replaced with a slower airport card. Please help me out!
