The folder "iTunes" cannot be found or created, and is required. Help!

After a seemingly smooth upgrade, iTunes is giving me this message:

"The folder "iTunes" cannot be found or created, and is required. The default location for this folder is inside the "Music" folder."

After I saw this, I looked inside the Music folder and everything was still there. So I reinstalled the latest version of iTunes, which I already had, and it still didn't show me that message.

If this had happened in Tiger, it would have at least given me the option to locate it, but Leopard won't let me do even that! Leopard also completely broke Firefox (It just won't start up), and is preventing me from putting _anything_ on my desktop, which is incredibly stupid.

Try opening iTunes, if possible. Then, go to "File" and click "Add to Library..." and find the iTunes folder and add your music to iTunes that way.

While that option wasn't available, I fixed the problem anyway by turning off FileVault.
