Geforce Go 8800M GTX
I just found this little tidbit:

And I was wondering if there was a theoretical chance to see it in the MacBook Pros, and Imacs, due to the form factor and power consumption?

Apple never gives us the greatest. It's always like third tit. So basically no you'll never see it in a Mac.
Although that's true on the desktop lineup, they made a good effort with the MBP. The 8600M GT isn't all that slow and there are only a few cards faster for a laptop:
Go 7800 GTX, Go 7900 GTX, Go 7800, Go 7900 GS, 8700M GT
and now the 8800M GTX.
Another MBP update won't be until mobile Penryn comes in February or something anyway so it's a possibility. I agree it's unlikely but it will depend on how much heat it generates and the pricing.
I really hope they don't start putting ATI cards in the laptops.
hopefully BEFORE xmas , it runs the HD video shit very nice , as far as i know.
There were zero two days ago.
Now Newegg has 9 and counting.
PCI Express 2.0 is a must for the next Mac Pro.
The price/perfomance of these makes SLI more generally affordable.
