I cant stand it! It always goes on at such inopportune times. I went to permentally disable this annoyance. Help me, hearing beep-beep-beep in games is not welcome.

Just click the "Off" radio button next to "Sticky Keys" and "Mouse Keys" in the Universal Access control panel to turn all Universal Access features off.

No need to "destroy" the feature as you say, some people probably find that those features greatly assist them in using their Mac.

Hummm??? Universal Acess has never been turned on on my machine, and I never hear it, even during full screen games (Quake 3A, Riven etc.)
