Network printing with Leopard

I normally used to print from my iBook G4 to a LaserWriter 1220 attached to an iMac in an upstairs office. After a Leopard upgrade (no archive), I have difficulty getting the printing to work.



The LaserWriter 1220 is attached via an HP ethernet adapter on address 10.0.1.4. I can "ping" that address from the iBook over the network, so that seems fine. When I try to print i get a message like "Port 9100 is busy".



I have checked that Sharing is on for printing and that the Firewall allows all traffic, but to no avail.



Suggestions welcome.
