Never thought would happen to me..actually I knew it would!

Splashed some water on my macbook as I knocked my waterbottle...it was on the left side from the user's perspective, some drops were visible on the keybord and a bit on the screen but not much. Anyway switched it off immediately, dried off what I could see and left it off for about 6 hours. Now I switched it on and on the left right corner it has a see-through spot of irregular shape, of few square cm size. It looks as water is between the screen and whatever is behind it (obviously I know nothing about hardware).

I didn't think water got actually in there, it was more on the keybord..is that what it is and is it going to dry? Or did the water possibly damaged the screen and it needs servicing? If so, any idea on how much? It s still under warranty (6 months old..sigh..) but will they know is water?

Also any risk of other damage? It seems fine but what about corrosion? Should I swithc it off immediately?

Looking at it the spot looks like a face..I know is laughing at me for how dumb I am!

Please help, any suggestion will be very welcome! Thank you
