And i was wandering, could the I touch possible use this, meaning a 64 Gb I touch??????

Any thoughts or does I touch run a different storage unit?

No, but you could upgrade a iPod Classic with a SSD. The flash on the iPod Touch I think were mounted on the boards. They werent 1.8" SSD drives.

The touch and iPhone have memory chips, not drives. I don't know how thin SSD drives are, but even Apple couldn't get a drive, board, battery, touchscreen and casing sandwiched together and get it to the touch's 8mm thickness.
