Round circle in Touch screen

Looking at the top left in the top black border of the screen with a light, I can see a small round circle embedded in the glass or below it---anyone else have this or know what it is?

    Mine's got it too. Ambient light sensor, I'd think!

    I thought it was a light sensor but when I cover it-it does not seem to do anything

    the touch has 2 of em that i can see. one at the top as mentioned and one next to the home button on the bottom.
