How Many Custom Ringtones in iPhone 1.1.2?

Is there a limit to the number of custom ringtones you can put on the iPhone using version 1.1.2? I've created more than 44 but only 44 of them synced onto the iPhone?



Has anyone gotten more than that? These were all custom made, none of them bought through iTunes. I have a 4 GB model, but it isn't full.

    I solved it: the ones which weren't appearing were too long. After shortening them to 40 seconds or less they appeared on my iPhone.
