Has anyone had problem with Perl 5.7 on OS X.

I want to install Perl 5.7.2 but had bad experiences with it on a Sun box. (probably my install) Has anyone had 5.7 running on 10.X or greater?

    I tried it out on a few Linux systems, but since I needed something reliable, I stuck with 5.6. I'm having a hard enough time writing decent code for the damn thing without having to worry about bugs and instability.
