On both my G5 iMac, and my MacBook installing Leopard made them no longer work with my wired LAN. Airport works fine on both.

Both of these computers are used in video production and we have a gigabit network to help that along.

I've installed the 10.5.1 update on the MacBook and it's still assigning itself an IP address.

Both machines worked perfectly with the wired network for more than a year before the Leopard update. Any of you heard of something like this?

Yes, and often times what works is to delete the Location and create a new one from scratch.
