xp home or professional?

I plan on getting a Macbook pro sometime next year and would like to put XP on it. When I was using XP I used the home edition and it suited me just fine. But it seems everyone suggests XP Pro. The price difference is significant ($100 at compusa) This computer will be for personal use only. Do I really need XP Pro?

Thanks!

Bootcamp supports XP home as long as it's SP2.

People may have suggested Pro since Home only supports one processor but the MBP has a dual core single processor which should work fine.

I would get XP Home, that's what I use on my Mac Pro. I've never been able to do something that XP Pro was capable of. Both are equally horrible in my opinion.

Actually, I'm running vista on my mac mini (see below). And it works great, doesn't even lag. It starts up fast..

    But, I still hate microsoft.

But, if you've got an SP2 disc for XP, install that. Cuz vista takes up like 1gb of my 2gb's of memory.
