Duplicates under "Places" in Finder (2 Desktop folders, etc.)

Okay, I have an interesting problem. Under the "Places" category in Finder, I have duplicates of everything. I have 2 Desktops, Home folders, Applications, Utilities, etc. Here's a screen shot:





Does anyone know how to fix this? It happened before, yet it went back to normal sometime during the process of looking for a solution...



By the way, I'm running Leopard (and just installed fink, pureftpd... not sure if that pertains to any of this).

    just drag them off to the side.. and they'll poof away

    Ha ha, a quick reboot did it too. Any idea as to why this may have happened?
