Any news from the Tuesday OSX keynote??
As far as I remember, there was a second keynote scheduled for today (Tuesday), on OSX. ahhh, found it:
[quote]Feature Presentation
Â?Power of XÂ? with Avie Tevanian, Apple senior vice president of Software Engineering, and Philip Schiller, Apple vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing.
What:Â*\tA presentation on the worldÂ?s most advanced operating system
When:Â*\tTuesday, Jan 8, at 12 p.m. PST

I was hoping for a sneakypeak of 10.2, or any general good news on the OSX front. Any news yet??

I didn't know about that event. Hmm. I guess it explains why Jobs said nothing about 10.2. I've not heard anything yet.
nope. I whent to it. It was just a demo of some of the features in OS X (not geni efect and Dock etc) that you do not see or here about that much. Like apple script, keyboard comands etc. Phill also showed off some cool OS X shareware apps like Watson. it was pretty cool. But nothing new.

Was the word "metadata" used at any point? Or were there perhaps any anti-"dot-3-filename-suffix" hecklers in the audience?
