Another stab at the Mac

http://www.news.com/8301-13579_3-9829091-37.html

It's amazing how people seem to love taking stabs at the Mac.

People who believe that the Mac is the absolutely perfect with no flaws are just idiots.

And these articles love to state the obvious.

"It's just a computer."

"It just works."

BOTH are true.

The Mac is not immune to it's share of problems.

The DIFFERENCE is, the Mac has LESS, WAY less problems then your average Windows run computer.

CNET, PLEASE stop putting up these stupid kinds of articles. If you're going to stab the Mac, put out some knives on the Windows/PC horror stories too. Share the pain.

Problems with the PC stem from the pure incompetence of Microsoft and cheap OEM hardware used by mainstream PC makers. Problems with the Mac stem mainly from arrogance on the part of both Apple and the Mac community.

CNET sucks almost as much as the Register.

One day, they bash Microsoft/Vista, the next, Apple/Leopard. At this point, they aren't any better than a run-of-the-mill tech blog. I've noticed issues with Vista and Leopard, but what do people expect as computers become more complex.
