MacDICT under OS X

I love the OS 9 program MacDICT. It's so very easy to use - from the provided Control Strip module, choose a function such as "define" or "translate" and enter the text you want acted on, and it goes out and finds a reference or translation for you.

I've fiddled around with NetDICT, but don't like it. Does anyone know of a good computer dictionary, or even better, if MacDICT is going to be ported to Mac OS X?

Whenever I need a dictionary, which is very rare, I use OmniDictionary.
