I've used it before. The product is still in beta, and has it's ups and downs. Their tech support staff is almost useless. Luckily, there is a community magicJack forum, with some very knowledgeable people, who, in general, are more helpful than the real magicJack support.
I also found out that the magicJack offers 'free' phone calls, not 'unlimited'. I asked the tech support guys what the limit was, and they said they did not know, but that there is some magical limit as to the amount of calls you can make.
I bought it earlier this year, but the packaging stated that it didn't support Apple OS. I talked to a rep who said that it would support Mac sometime in the future, but he didn't know when. They refunded my money when I sent it back.

It does not surprise me that their tech support was unable to give you an answer to your question. Apple is supported now. According to this page, it is available now for
Quote:
Only compatible with Intel-based Macs with OS Versions:
10.4.10 (must have Kernel 8.10.3 or higher)
10.4.11 and higher
11.0 and higher
You'll also notice, they state that they do not support their own software:
Quote:
Technical support is not yet available for MAC installations
Like I said in a previous post, this company provides next to no customer support. If you want support, you are forced to go to a community forum. This company appears only to be concerned with sales, and has next to no interest in supporting their software.
The good news, is that when the device works, it works very well. I mostly use the jack for callerID spoofing, just to mess with my friends...

How did you get ahold of any "tech support guys? Please email me and let me know. I'm trying to install/register my magicjack and it looks like someone is using my email address and password for themselves. And, when I put in my address, it says that this person lives in a town about 50 miles from me.
I cannot find any information on how to contact the magicjack people. They do not have a email address or phone number.
