Modify "About this mac"???

hi all



so as the topic speaks for himself.....is it possible ti modify system profile info on "About this mac" panel? or this is no go? I just got my 2.2GHz macbook pro 15" which I'd like to turn into 2.4GHz . I've googled for this one but less or more is all about some picture manipulation.

    "About This Mac" just displays information. It doesn't really have any purpose other than that. If you want to overclock your CPU, you'll need to find some hack for that purpose. I don't know if it's possible or not, but I wouldn't recommend it on a notebook. They aren't designed for much variance in heat, and you run the risk of doing some real harm. For an 8% gain it seems hardly worth it.



    If you just want to fool someone on eBay, you're an asshole. You can try photoshop, but I don't think there's an actual way to alter the readout.

    shit man! any place I post this question I get eBay this, eBay that. no I dont do crime FYI. its all about my friend managed to fool system info in his hackintosh and when I tryed to do the same on my macbook pro I failed. even if I did the same thing he did It didnt work for me.
