Lost Hard Drive Space
Hey! I lost about 12 GB of hard drive space after I had to force-shutdown (it got stuck during the normal shutdown) my Macbook Pro (2.2 Ghz, 2GB RAM, 128 VRAM).
I was told to use WhatSize to look for the folder taking up space. I found a folder that's about 19GB big:
Hard Drive > Users > Administrator > Library > FileSync > 001b63ac6bf4 > (my .Mac account name)_iDisk > bands
I was wondering if this is the problem. If it is, can I delete the files in the folder?

My file was 400GB - taking up most of my new 500GB drive.
Since I was migrating over to the new 500GB drive from my old 320GB drive and I had everything backed up to an identical 320GB drive using SuperDuper!, I just threw away the huge file in my FileSync folder and hoped for the best.
I rebooted after emptying the Trash and everything was back to normal.
thanks, i'll take the plunge and delete the files. i guess i'll see the results in a few minutes...
UPDATE: It worked! Thanks!
