What does this mean?

So I bought 10.5 and installed it last weekend.

Before installing, I ran disk utility, and it repaired a couple wonky permissions and apparently some minor problem I had with my HD (which was a little disconcerting but I just rolled with it).

Things have been mostly fine, but after a couple days, my dock froze up and became non-responsive for no apparent reason. Then yesterday Expose stopped working. Restarts cured these problems.

So I decided to run disk utility again. The HD came up fine.

When I run repair permissions, this is what I get:

Warning: SUID file "usr/libexec/load_hdi" has been modified and will not be repaired.

Warning: SUID file "System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/DiskManagement.framework/Versions/A/Resources/DiskManagementTool" has been modified and will not be repaired.

Warning: SUID file "System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/DesktopServicesPriv.framework/Versions/A/Resources/Locum" has been modified and will not be repaired.

Warning: SUID file "System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/Install.framework/Versions/A/Resources/runner" has been modified and will not be repaired.

Warning: SUID file "System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/Admin.framework/Versions/A/Resources/readconfig" has been modified and will not be repaired.

Warning: SUID file "System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/Admin.framework/Versions/A/Resources/writeconfig" has been modified and will not be repaired.

Warning: SUID file "usr/libexec/authopen" has been modified and will not be repaired.

Warning: SUID file "System/Library/CoreServices/Finder.app/Contents/Resources/OwnerGroupTool" has been modified and will not be repaired.

Warning: SUID file "System/Library/CoreServices/RemoteManagement/ARDAgent.app/Contents/MacOS/ARDAgent" has been modified and will not be repaired.

This has me really worried. I've got no clue what any of that means.

I'm a MBP 2.2 GHz, 2 GB ram, running 10.5.1

    Launch Terminal.app

Go to the folder where the files reside:

    For example /usr/libexec/

    $ls -rhlta load_hdi

    -r-sr-xr-x 1 root wheel 19k Mar 24 2005 load_hdi

Read and learn what SUID does.
