Or you can get VueScan from <a href=""; target="_blank"> and scan in OS X.

VueScan supports most scanners.

I am Codename.

Nostradamus: Thanks a bunch for the link. I downloaded the demo and IT WORKS EFFIN' GREAT!!!!!

The software is EASIER to use than the mish-mash that Epson sent along with my Perfection 1240U. Thanks a ton!

If I had my way, I'd give you a couple of our Taliban prisoners in Cuba to hunt from horseback! (It's amazing, but some people think I'm kidding when I write stuff like that )

Thanks again!

    2) Wrong forum?

    3) You spelled his/her name wrong.

VueScan works with the 1240U? Last time I checked the guy said that Canon scanners would not work!

If this is true, this is great since I will be buying the Canon 1240U in a few days

Vuescan's SW works with my EPSON Perfection 1240U. Dunno about the Canon. Good luck!

    Thanks again, Nostradamus!

Cosmo: I picked up his/her tip in this forum. Thought that I'd give the credit where the credit was due.
