HELP!!! External HD was erased in Leopard

Hello all,



I'm at your mercy. I was working in photoshop on my OSX Leopard partition and all of a sudden, when I was trying to save a file onto my external drive, my computer hung up. I closed everything and restarted computer under OSX and now it shows my EXT Drive as a blank partition. Under windows I have exactly the same thing.



Any ideas what I can do??? I'm at your mercy...

    Firstly see if Disk Utility will help with a repair on the drive. If not, Disk Warrior might help - it's good at recovering data and I think it can rebuild the partition map. Is it a Windows formatted drive though (MSDOS)?



    You can also give Data Rescue a go.
