Over hyped, Under Delivered
Well, I have to say that this was a disappointment. This was not beyond
the rumor sites. Its like the boy who cried
wolf. Will we believe the hype next time?
no new powermacs
no partnerships or deals
(1000 imacs to genetech dont count)
no pda or new device
no price reduction on iPod
and can you imagine those desklamps in the education market?
apple has 2.8% of the market. i *love* their technology but they also need to do things that either grow the market or expand into new markets and i did not see that happening here.
it was the imac sequel show.
i thought the cube was better. the problem with cube was not the product but the product positioning and price points. should have nuked the old imac and improved the cube versus nuking cube and releasing computer lamps.
i wonder if they tip over easily
