Leopard installation issue
Well I wanted to install Leopard on my Mom's G5 for her, (it's actually my old one) for Christmas. I did a normal install minus the printer drivers. When it did the first restart it got stuck on the opening blue screen - right before the desktop loads. I tried restarting several times, and even left it for quite a while.
I then ejected the disc by holding the mouse button down, put the disc back in, restarted it and held down the "C" key. I'm now doing a reinstall of it, but I'm worried that I'll have the same results.
Anyone have any advice if it does the same thing again? Anything I can do? I realize this is jumping the gun considering I haven't even finished my second installation yet, but I really need this installed tonight. Thanks for any feedback - I'll post immediately if I get it working.
Edit: maybe this belongs in the Genius Bar section, sigh.
Edit #2:
Disregard, got it working, had to do the following:
/sbin/fsck -fy
/sbin/mount -uw /
rm -rf /System/Library/SystemConfiguration/ApplicationEnhancer.bundle
reboot
