I having issues with my Nikon camera. Before updating to leopard I transferred pictures all the time, but now when I plug in the camera nothing happens. I didn't update iLife, but don't know if I have to. Is there anything that can be done? I have iPhoto 6.06 currently installed. Why wouldn't this version be cleared when I installed leopard if it's not compatible.

All I can suggest is try the easy stuff, like zapping the PRAM (hold Cmd-Opt-P-R on power up), or try reinstalling iPhoto. No dice there, then reinstall Leopard.

The Nikon software is broken in Leopard. Since upgrading to Leopard, I haven't been able to get my Nikon P2 to transfer pictures either wirelessly or by USB. I can, however, get them in via USB and either iPhoto (iLife '08) or Kodak Easyshare. Then I can get them into the Nikon program from there. Nikon says they're working on it. Don't hold your breath.
