Either they get a solution to fixing the broken Installer or they think people are actually going to continue to buy into this [Apple only memory] when even certified 3rd party memory isn't passing the mustard.

Fix the damn Installer.app Apple.

Same memory works flawless on Tiger pukes on Leopard. No one is going to spend several hundred dollars to buy Apple Memory, just to install the OS and then put back in their RAM.

Give me a break. $300 for 1Gig of RAM.

There is a reason people still find Tiger a useful operating system on older hardware. This is a big one.

Yes very absurd. Especially since savvy Mac buyers will install as much of their RAM as possible in order to save money.

And the graphics card offerings need major improvement this coming year as well. Lets hope Apple resolves to improve these two areas in the coming year.

I expected this year to be the one I buy a Mac Pro. If their prior track record and gutless maneuvers like the aforementioned continue to mount I will wait longer and just buy more hardware for Linux.
